Hennadiy Moskal, the People´s Deputy of Ukraine, registered the relevant Bill in The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
The Bill (Reg. No. 2134) is aimed at further enhancement of investigation and search operations in Ukraine under conditions of forming of civil society and legal State.
The Bill introduces a number of regulations regarding provision of human rights and liberties whilst performing investigation and search operations, and enhanced effectiveness of the said activity under the conditions of IKT development.
The Bill also defines means and methods to be exploited in the investigation and search operations, and specifies the grounds for their conduct, in view of taking necessary general and individual measures for crime prevention.
The author believes that adoption of a new version of the Law "On Investigation and Search Operations" will promote observance of human rights and liberties by the operations sections, and enhance efficiency of the said activity aimed at prevention of crimes.
